Brainstorming for ideas

So far yesterday we spent the whole day cracking our heads for ideas to be approved, for our first idea, we thought of having different genres, 3-4 different locations to show how vfx can be used to set the mood and atmosphere. 2nd one is a person sitting in a cinema and the things come to life, interacting with the person. 3rd is having the character taking a lift, and as he goes up, the lift design changes, this is to show the evolution of vfx.

We went to see the IxD lecturers with our fellow IxD mates and our ideas were shot down. Spent the remaining day to come out with some ideas with them but still doesnt seem to work. Brain is already fried. Thought of using realism to sell vfx. I could think of vfx breakdown and oh well...
