Leica Reel

Today we presented our storyboard and got some feedback, that we have a lack of CG shots. So we decided to make the knife CG as there will be a part where the actress seem to be so good with the knife and in the reflection of the knife revealed her dark side. We took out the establishing shot to save time and location stuff, and as for the CCTV, we were thinking of zooming out from the interior to the exterior, showing the actress in the reflection. The glass shot will have more impact, and more shattering. Perhaps being done in houdini.  These are our major 3 shots.

Nicole taught us about how Image Based Lighting (IBL) works and also guide us through of how we should film. We went to the pantry and did our Leica Reel first. Vanessa was taking the BTS!

 Discussion

I was a stand in for the Leica Reel. We managed to get our actor confirmed, which is Kin Lin! We are really grateful that she offered to help us even though she had their own stuff to do and she got the look of the character that we want too~ 

We went onto shooting in the lecturer's room (Mr Ong i think). We didn't take any Behind the scenes though, but perhaps when the Leica Reel is up I will include some screenshots of it. After the whole filming, I went to take care of the paperwork and stuff, since tomorrow we are filming, I confirmed the equipment list and sent it for approval. It was approved so we will start shooting tomorrow. Basically Friday and Monday is our shooting timings, first priority for tomorrow's shoot is everybody's CG shots are taken. The remaining will be done on Monday. 2nd priority is the lecturer's room as we didn't want to disturb him that much. Over the weekend, the members can start their work and know how their shots are like. I even gave some stuff to the IxD for their microsite. I gave each one of the members instructions. 

To all members: bring anything we might use, like green paper, clips or whatever just in case something happens, like scotch tape or something.

Moni & Nurul: confirm all props and makeup for talent. Paper, bag, work documents. Avoid green, blue, red white and black. The wardrobe basically. 

(Which reminds me that I need the talent to sign the talent paper thingy)

Vanessa: Start on modelling, perhaps add more detail into the interior(mechanics) of the CCTV and if reference images have textures, that will be good, also find a reflective suitable knife to start modelling too.

Fa: Complete Leica Reel with sound. Bring extension cord, pole or anything. 

Nurul: reference for glass shatter

Moni: perhaps start on glitch reference and stuff

And here I am going to update the schedule so far... We're shooting all mainly on Level 5 so yup.
